Pittsburgh Area Bridal Bouquet/Memorial Flower Preservation 12 x 16
**** Before ordering, please e-mail me at sarah.d.leist@gmail.com to confirm my availability to receive and press your flowers. .****
HOW: Once purchased, instructions for getting your bouquet to me will be sent to your e-mail. Once I receive your bouquet, each individual bloom or greenery will be placed in my custom flower presses. Once the pressing is complete, I will begin designing your forever flower frame. You can expect to receive your finished frame within 4-6 months.
WHAT: *This frame measures 12 inches by 16 inches. It is fashioned with silver solder and a soldering iron, using the Tiffany Technique that stained glass artists also use.*
A few things to keep in mind:
#1 The colors of your blooms will change during the pressing process. Pinks and especially whites tend to become more muted or brown slightly. They are still lovely!
#2 You’ll want to keep your flowers in fresh water following the ceremony/services and then elect a friend or family member to drop off the flowers for pressing!
#3Please remove any faux flowers, jewelry, ribbons, etc. that you would want to save from your bouquet. I can only use real flowers in your design, and everything else is discarded once I disassemble the bouquet.
#4 Once you’ve received your finished frame, choose a spot for hanging that is away from direct sunlight, heat, or moisture. It is natural for colors to fade a bit over time, but sunlight, heat, and moisture are the enemies of pressed flowers.
#5 Chains are NOT included with the 12 × 16 and 10 × 12 frames, due the the weight of two panes of glass and metal solder. If a chain is important to you, I have a creative solution we can discuss via email.
