Perfect gifts for the Mother of the Bride, Mother of the Groom, and bridesmaids!

What is involved in the creation of these Pressed Flower Frames?

-Once I receive the fresh flowers, I will disassemble each flower/foliage and place them in my custom flower presses. (1-2 hours)

-They will press for 2-6 weeks, during which I will monitor their progress and change paper to prevent molding.

-Once the flowers are completely pressed, I will reassemble blooms petal by petal, and begin designing your frame(s). (2-6 hours depending on size of frame)

-You will receive a message requesting approval for frame designs before I begin permanent gluing. (1-4 hours depending on size of frame)

-Once the design has been made permanent, the second piece of glass is added to the frame, and the metal soldering process begins. The frame is cleaned extensively and copper foil tape and flux is applied. I fire up my soldering torch and melt the silver solder to the frame, creating a permanent seal. Once this is complete, more cleaning and polishing are required. (1-2 hours)

Things to consider:

-The colors of flowers do change in the pressing process, and certain flowers press better than others. When you purchase a flower frame from me, you are trusting my knowledge of flower pressing and design to create the very best arrangement with the materials I am given.

-From start to finish, allow up to 6 months to receive your completed frame(s).

-To prevent fading, keep your Pressed Flower Frame out of windows, direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
